Team design concept
Team design concept report is a record of how you are going to solve the given problem from client. Your report will be important evidence that you have achieved the clear plan for the implementation part and you’re aware of unit learning outcomes.
– Your report should be 5-8 pages, excluding the references list, use Times New Roman, font 12.
– Follow the APA or IEEE citation format, for referencing.
– Your report should effectively communicate and reflect on the Team design concept that you and your teammates agreed on that as the direction of your project. Your writing should be structured, grammatically correct and typo free.
Please follow the following template to structure your report.
1.1 Background and Motivation
Discuss your motivations and reasons for working on this project, especially any background or domain knowledge that can help you explain the significance of this project for the Australian society. Who will benefit from, or be interested in the potential outcomes?
1.2 Project Goals/Objectives
Provide the primary questions you are trying to answer with your solutions.What would you like to learn and accomplish? List the desired outcomes/benefits to you and the client of the completed project.
1.3 Project Schedule/Plan
Make sure that you plan your work so that you can avoid a big rush right before the final project deadline. Write this in terms of weekly deadlines. You may use a Gantt chart for that.
2 Data (Data Science project only)
2.1 Data Source
From where and how did you collect your data? Provide a link to your data sources. What type of data set is it? Is there any other dataset that you found useful to be used in this project? If yes, provide the link and explain why do you think it’s relevant.
2.2 Data Processing
Do you expect to do substantial data cleaning? Is data processing required to be implemented and how?
3 Method/Design Method/Design Frames
3.1. Which methods are you going to use for meeting objectives of the project? (Explain solution for each objective, separately)
3.2. Describe each method briefly. This part will cover your literature review on the potential methods that you are going to use for this project.
4.1 Explain which kind of implementations will be done by the end of the unit. You should explain the implementation steps and the resources that you may use.
4.2. Optional: If you already did an initial implementation, include it as a pilot study.
Provide a summary of the project, your proposed solutions and what you will learn from doing it.
