program, and taken again on day 21. The readings are given in the table below.
It has been conjectured that the physical fitness program will lower the mean Cholesterol level.
From among the options shown below, identify and use appropriate Minitab output to answer
the questions that follow.
(a) Is there any relationship between the Cholesterol levels taken at the start of the program,
and taken again on day 21? Explain.
(b) Is a parametric test or a non-parametric test more appropriate for this scenario? Explain.
Don’t forget to include all the assumptions (conditions) required for the test.
(c) Perform the hypothesis test you picked in part (a) to determine whether physical fitness
program will lower the mean Cholesterol level Use a 5% significance level and the full
Graph-State-Formulate-Solve-Conclude procedure.
