Deadline Date for Submission of Coursework
The coursework should be submitted via Blackboard TURNITIN for assessment.
Please keep a copy of your coursework. The school has anti-plagiarism software, so
please be warned that all essays submitted will be tested for plagiarism. Plagiarism is
severely penalised, and you should ensure that you are familiar with the penalties as
contained in the Student Handbook. The deadline for this coursework submission is
12.00 noon 19
th March 2021.
The following penalties will be applied to coursework which is submitted after the
deadline for submission:
• where the piece of work is submitted after the original deadline (or any formally
agreed extension to the deadline): 10% of the total marks available for that piece of
work will be deducted from the mark for each working day (or part thereof)
following the deadline up to a total of five working days;
• where the piece of work is submitted more than five working days after the original
deadline (or any formally agreed extension to the deadline): a mark of zero will be
recorded.
