The research concept paper is due in Week 9 of MN6021. The paper provides the student with an opportunity to present their proposed topic supported by an annotated bibliography. The research concept is a 15-20-page document (excluding reference pages) that describes the reasons for the research (the problem statement, research questions, and theoretical justification for the research in the form of an annotated bibliography) as well as a proposed methodology and a statement of intent to conduct ethical research. The content of the research concept paper must align with the Research Concept Paper Grading Rubric and the following structure:

  2. Keep the question(s) to one sentence.
  3. Define a minimum of 2 questions.
  1. Be sure that the research questions link theory to existing research to what you propose to accomplish
  1. Begin with what you expect the research to accomplish (its objectives)
  2. Be simple
