这个作业是分析一些变量如何影响人感染Covid-19病毒的风险

Risk of Covid-19 Infection REST 575/RM 475 Course Project Spring 2020
You are expected to analyze the dataset “Data-Covid-19-Risk.csv” and write a short article (no more than 10 pages) to present your analyses regarding whether and how some variables affect the risk of a person being infected by the Covid-19 virus.
The dataset is fake. I generated them using a model that you don’t know. Your article will be graded based on how close your conclusions are to the true model, which I know but you don’t.
The dataset contains five columns: Ethnic (American, Asian, or European), Age, BMI (body mass index), Conditions (0 for not having pre-existing conditions and 1 for having them), Social (social activeness, between 0 and 1), Mask (0 for not wearing masks and 1 for wearing masks), Risk (the risk of a person being infected by the Covid-19 virus). Risk should be the dependent variable in your model. Each row is for a person.
There is no guarantee that all variables in the dataset are relevant. There is no guarantee that all relevant variables are in the dataset. There is no guarantee that the true relationships are linear. Since you don’t know the true model, it is almost impossible to get perfectly correct results. But that is the reality of doing scientific research and that is life. So, do not worship “Science”!
1, You article needs to have a cover page, with a title, an abstract, and your name on it. The article does not need to have any references. No need to review the literature.
2, Your article needs to have the following sections: introduction, data description, your research design (hypotheses and models), empirical results, and conclusion.
Each section needs to be concise but informative.
3, You need to have two tables for data summary: one for quartiles, means, and standard errors for each variable, for the whole sample and each ethnic group; and the other for correlations between each pair of variables, for the whole sample and each ethnic group.
4, You need to have a few tables presenting your results. If you tried different models, or models for different ethnic groups, you will need multiple tables.
5, You want to have a few figures to visualize the data or relationships that you think are important.
6, Each Table and figure will be on a separate page. Contents will be 1.5-spaced.
