Group Task Analysis
This group assessment is designed to build on your learnings from Assignment 1 and introduce
you to completing analyses tasks as part of a team as you will experience in the working
environment.
Learning Objectives and Success Criteria
LO 1: Show development of teamwork skills
LO 2: Use SAS coding to explore a large dataset
LO 3: Demonstrate both written and verbal/visual scientific communication skills
By the end of this task, you will be able to do the following:
Success Criteria 1: To achieve the successful completion of a group task you will show that
you can plan, conduct and execute the analyses task within your group
Success Criteria 2: Demonstrate a knowledge of SAS coding and creation of analyses
outputs to successfully evaluate a large dataset Success Criteria 3: Explain your findings
clearly and succinctly through a written report and video summary so that your findings
are understood by a lay audience (those without any statistical background).
Level of student effort to complete this project: approximately 10 hours
This learning activities has been specifically designed so that student collaboration is necessary
to accomplish the task. Students learn to
collaborate, negotiate and contribute to joint assignments. Group members experience sharing
