Module Overview
This module presents the common types of investments and provides a thorough grounding in the analysis of investment portfolios. The first part of the module covers traditional asset classes and the investment environment, including the investment process as well as a discussion of mutual funds and other investment companies. In the second part of this module, standard risk-return-based asset allocation methods are introduced. Following this, the module explores popularindex models and theoretical and empirical asset pricing models and their applications to investment analysis. The coursework consists of TWO tests (week 7 and 11)
Each test will be 45 minutes and worth 12.5% of the final mark
